Over the last 4 or 5 years, I’ve been involved in academia and the world as power players and their words left me mortified to the irreprehensible miss use and manipulation of both Power and Words.
The new platform is directly addressing Power.
In this piece, I address WORDS that have no meaning except to take up time and space. These empty words are everywhere in politics, our social climate, health, dealings, rights, -you name it -the blah- Bla- Bla is there and everywhere.
Even worse I have been having in-depth conversations about words and what Im finding is the public has come to expect and accept this miss use of words and power, as the matter of fact (Wiki, Google, Ect) – extending possibilities for artwork to Sound pollution.
The combination of Power and Words manipulate situations and people which leads into False News and culminates in the pool of Power.
So all this to say- this is the begging of the Power series
“Words with no Meaning” is where I’m contemplating how big mouths position themselves in power and power can be bought or sold.

16” H x 6”, reclaimed metal: staples, turnbuckle, hanger,
from our more than 100-year-old house restoration project, that reflects time and change, welded together and finished in oil.
In my work, I use small details to speak for their metaphorical representation and cross-references.
