The Workshop With Elena was an excellent push to look at subject differently even reading different texts. The outcome was a short film.

Resistance offers so much dimension to expand on and can be applied to every subject, simply, dimensionally, subconscious or conscious positive or negative.
Did you ever try and explain your point of view to someone who has a completely different though and they wouldn’t listen – Just listen to your thoughts? hear! it just happened to me with a person who was lost and stopped for directions but never listened to what I was trying to simply communicate in which she needed.

My initial reaction to this work disinterest due to the last ten years of taking care of 5 family members with sever illness. four of which passed very slowly in great Resistance in many ways. But that just makes me sad to think about.
My personal belief immediately kicked in: “Think Where You Want to Be!”
I have seen enough sickness and the insanity or Resistance that surrounds the subject to last a lifetime. With that said I can see where the subject of illness could offer endless fodder and support to one ill. I also agree with her thoughts that the performances for her and friends made them feel as they have some control over whats happening to their physical beings.
When I stop and don’t think about illness classically or through belief I can find the hope and apply that to the ill persons resistance.
I get it!

provocative for theatre and performance researchers: ‘for many, politics has become gestural: it is about refusing to engage with power on power’s own terms; about action, not ideas; about symbolic control of territory to create islands of utopia’. 2 gestural response/ Gündüz remained standing, silent and meditative.

notes; Foucault who, in a series of influential books translated in the Sixties and Seventies offered an analysis of the genesis and genealogies of the asylum, the hospital, the prison and sexuality.1 Foucault’s systems analysis of discourse (the term distances him from the Marxism of ‘ideology’) aims to reveal the institutional and therefore implicitly political workings of power in any claim to representation. By revealing the synonymity of power and politics in representation, Foucault gives his readers the impression that the clear articulation of the workings of power through regimes of truth is itself a political and critical act antithetical to the systems they expose. Piper’s work has been so powerful and so popular in its Foucauldian depiction of a pervasive structure of misrepresentation and disempowerment, that it now seems necessary to call into question the hegemony of the ‘power/knowledge’ paradigm as route royal to the deconstruction of stereotyping.

Dušan Makavejev film director and screenwriter, famous for his groundbreaking films of Yugoslav cinema in the late 1960s and early 1970s—many of which belong to the Black Wave. Makavejev’s most internationally successful film was the 1971 political satire WR: Mysteries of the Organism, which he both directed and wrote. Man Is Not a Bird (1965, starring actress and icon of the “black wave” period in film, Milena Dravić),Love Affair, or the Case of the Missing Switchboard Operator (1967, starring actress and icon of the “black wave”[1] period in film, Eva Ras) and Innocence Unprotected (1968), all won him international acclaim. Sweet Movie‘s explicit depiction of sex together with its bold treatment of the more taboo dimensions of sexuality reduced the size of the film’s audience (i.e. it was largely confined to the art house context) and also resulted in the film’s being censored in several countries.
After a seven-year hiatus in feature film production, Makavejev released the comparatively more conventional black comedy entitledMontenegro (1981). The director’s next feature film, The Coca-Cola Kid (1985), which was based on short stories by Frank Moorhouseand featured performances by Eric Roberts and Greta Scacchi, is arguably his most accessible picture.
