But it wouldn’t make a difference!
I just spent endless hours creating the new body of artwork –
“Bucks Begin to Sprout Their Antlers – Uncertainty “
– Exploring the effect of this pandemic time on the youth (Tween -Teen) community!
The ideas found great stimulation, concern, and new material to research, through the visit of my twelve-year-old nephew and the neighbor’s heard of tween- teens.
This nephew’s visit has been an experience similar to the biggest rollercoaster you ever did ride- But way more- fun, expensive, dramatic, and sometimes crazy gut-wrenching!
After the nephew left, I rushed around like a crazy person in the heat to finish all the background work for the art submission to be ready. Feeling the self-imposed pressure of a deadline, spewing sentences like “Can’t talk now- I’m focused- Later!”
My intentions were meant to finish and submit this work to a local show, to find this morning i read the deadline date wrong and I missed it by a day – uggh!
Have U ever? -LOL!
All I can do is laugh at myself in the hope of preparedness in the next opportunity! And show the body of work to you as it stands now!
2 large metal sculptures are in the process of being completed and the perspective of from the mother’s Eyes – Heart- being explored.
