“From Raw To Refined”
-Opening Reception November 2nd- 5 to 9 pm at the Albany Center Gallery. Show will run October 16th to November 17th, 2012.From Raw to Refined, Albany Center Gallery’s next show, will be up on October 16. It is the first all sculpture show, featuring the work of a diverse group of artists–Harold Gubnitsky, Paul Kant, Jason Schultz, and miChelle Vara.
When at the preview party seeing the installation of the diverse work put together by gallery director Tony Iadicicco, is not only exciting but I greatly enjoyed a new perspective. Seeing my work alone quite in the gallery with Harold’s, Paul and Jason’s work- for the fist time i saw my work look feminine. It spoke different softer but still very direct language. It was a night full of excitement, energy, art, as well as interesting conversation and new friendships made.
