Stillness in waiting
Beak long- sharp- sleek
Thin towering legs – slight with color
Long- slow steps- ignite my anticipation
pause- reflect- clarity- stability- intention so direct
My surprise- quicker than the eye can conceive- breakfast snatch-
Splash- head toss- gulp and gone
Clunky- off- wings so long- – perfection of flight
