hello, I hope you’re finding a personal rhythm even though the weather is unpredictable. I’ve detected that lately I’m never dressed correctly- one-day hiking in the warm sun, two days later splitting wood in the wind tunnel of the frozen tundra, while every step is a slip and slide, event. Anyway lets go off to whats up in the studio and art life-
Did you ever consider space? I got in a never-ending loop of thinking, how one could look at and even experience space. I have been playing with the word and even took it apart as if an object. The theme of this installment, Small Between the Stars, Large Against the Sky, implies a sensitivity towards the environment and a desire to question human nature. This proposal by the guest curator Jonathan Watkins, director at Ikon Gallery in Birmingham, raises fundamental questions about humans’ relationships to nature, to their environment, to each other, and even to their future on Earth.
